Umar Sani Bebeji (Ph.D)

Umar is a Lecturer, Legal Practitioner, Dispute Resolution Specialist, Researcher, and Corporate Consultant with over ten years of post-call legal practice at Ado Ali & Co. and Salim, Sultan and Partners, in addition to teaching experience in the Department of Commercial Law, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is currently the managing partner of Smart House Legal advice, a firm that specializes in Alternative dispute resolution, Corporate Practice, Training and Mentorship, and general legal advice. Umar has worked as a consultant and with high-level corporate entities in fields such as Islamic Banking and Finance, Electronic Banking, and Payment Systems. Umar is a Member of the Nigerian Bar Association's Human Rights Committee in Zaria, and also a member of the Kaduna State Open Government Partnership reform effort. His professional associations include the Nigerian Bar Association and the Nigerian Law Teachers Association.
